Hello, i have a cb50JE(1069544) and a cy50E(1267051) engine block. Can somebody tell me what year there are from and from which country? Or where i can find these info? Thanks.
55 years old, and i have still my cy50(from 1979).
Hi Chevy I´m not quite sure, but I think, the "E" in the matchcode, is a sign, that the engine was build for the european market. I found the "E" at all my bikes and they were sold in Germany. At some parts build only for Germany, you can find a "G". For belgian types you can find a "B".For austrian types an "A" and so on. Japanese parts have a "J" or "JH" for Honda. So I think it´s impossible to say, in which country the motor/bike was sold. The CB was sold in Germany, Belgium, Austria and England. The CY50 in Germany, Belgium. The CY80 in Germany and France.

and the results for the cy50 of other users cy50: [size=12pt]
cy50: ... 1978 124 1979 125 1980 126 ..
find other official results is very difficult. it´s not easy to find a page where the cb50 and the cy50 are listed. a good adress for some other bikes is http://www.motorera.com/honda/ but they didn´t have cb50 and cy50.
Thank you for the fast response and answers. These two block's are my backup engines if the original block get broken. It has already 52000km and i drive it every day. But i have noticed that he is getting aged. Never opened the block in all those years! It was my first moped. The engine is still original with a F130-56 flywheel(honda). Topspeed is now lower than it used to be: 55km. Thanks for your help. Greetings pat.
